If you were a coach, or college recruiter looking for athletes, or a gifted athlete looking for scholarships, College Golf Camps of America provided the opportunity for both. Students could hone and showcase their skills, while coaches and recruiters brought the instruction and potential for contracts.
A collegiate typeface and shield crest represented the schools, while the color scheme spoke to the fact the program was designed for American students, and institutions. The client had similar programs available for other sports, so it was designed to allow for representational imagery from each (ex. change out the golf ball for a baseball).
